Stilltend founder Stef McDonald began her career as a writer and editor, then transitioned to working as a communications specialist for nonprofits, health and wellness practitioners, and impact-driven projects. After taking a series of UCLA’s MARC (Mindfulness Awareness Research Center) classes in 2023, she received her Facilitation in Mindful Awareness certification from Hello Wellness in 2024. She has been a certified family support group facilitator for The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) since 2021.
Stilltend is a practice that offers mindfulness facilitation and coaching to individuals, businesses and groups, with programming that includes live guided meditations, support groups, writing and other creative workshops, and classes. She has personally learned that when we still our minds and tend to our needs, we can embrace life fully. She lives in Ventura, CA.
